Lisa Lampanelli is probably considered to be one of the most outspoken female comedians of all times. The Early Years
Born in 1961, Lisa Lampanelli was born into a middle-class household with three siblings. She comes from an Italian/Polish background where her mother worked for a police department and her father worked for an aircraft company as a painter. Early on, Lampanelli attended Roman Catholic schools, and later in life while seeking higher education, she became intrigued with journalism and decided to study at Syracuse University and Boston College. After completing those terms, she decided to utilize a graduate program that was offered at Harvard. After a variety of different gigs at Rolling Stone Magazine, Popular Mechanics and Spy Magazine, she decided she would take her knowledge and ability to crack jokes to a new level which is where her comedic career began in the early 1990s.

Throughout the 1990s, Lampanelli began brushing up on her skills with comedic routines that consisted of controversial comedy that included subjects that centered on homosexuality and race. Although this wasn't unpopular, it wasn't very popular for female comedians to take part in this type of comedy. Lampanelli finally got her break in 2002 when she was invited to the New York Friars Club Roast that was hosting Chevy Chase. Since that time she's released CDs and DVDs and was nominated for a Grammy in 2007 for her work on the CD "Dirty Girl." In fact, she has become so popular - she ended up landing a role on the Celebrity Apprentice 5 in 2011.
